The Loulouyah Adventure Mountain project transforms the desert of Sharjah into an immersive adventure park, where each structure becomes a suspended fragment of dunes within the landscape. Zipline, Skyrider, Giant Swing, and Alpine Coaster are conceived as modules elevated on slender pillars, their façades wrapped in sinuous wooden slats that trace curves and waves, evoking wind-sculpted sand masses.
Within these “shells,” white metal cubes pierced with traditional Arabic geometric patterns filter daylight by day and glow like lanterns by night.
The sequence of attractions is designed to deliver a continuous experience: from the zipline launch station—with its waiting area and interior route—to the tornado-shaped landing tower by the sea, where a helical staircase winds among tilted pillars. Next comes the Alpine Coaster, racing horizontally for 37 meters behind a perforated-metal portal.
The Giant Swing, suspended beneath an imposing arch, and the three Skyrider stations connected by an aerial cable complete the itinerary. Each pavilion is a lightweight, sustainable work that poetically dialogues with the dunes, ensuring comfort, safety, and a strong union of traditional archetypes and contemporary formal rigor.
